  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances the natural flavors.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Adds moisture and helps the seasoning stick.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional) For color and freshness; can be omitted.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and olive oil, mixing until it resembles a thick paste.
  • Rub the garlic-Parmesan mixture generously over each chicken breast, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  • Wrap two slices of bacon around each chicken breast, securing them with toothpicks if needed.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the wrapped chicken on it, seam side down.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.

Notes

For a bit of extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice before seasoning. You can also sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes in the garlic mixture for heat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
