  • 6 slices bacon, crumbled Use crispy bacon or turkey bacon for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Provides gooey texture.
  • 1 cup cheddar or Colby Jack cheese, shredded Choose based on your flavor preference.
  • cup ranch dressing Use your favorite brand.
  • 10-12 pieces small flour tortillas Corn tortillas can also be used.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray or melted butter For brushing the taco tops.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine) For topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with cooking spray or melted butter.
  • In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Warm tortillas in the microwave for about 15 seconds to soften them.
  • Spoon the mixture onto each tortilla and fold them over. Place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Top with shredded lettuce and drizzle with extra ranch dressing before serving.

Notes

For a flavor boost, consider adding jalapeños for heat or swapping chicken for sautéed bell peppers and mushrooms for a vegetarian option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days.
