  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Brings garlicky flavor without fresh garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances the sweet, savory notes.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to your palate.
  • optional Fresh parsley for garnish Adds a vibrant touch to the final plate.

Cooking Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season each chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on all sides.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream. Cook until heated through and smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it generously with the sauce.
  • Plate the dish and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. Reheat gently on the stove.
